Eating Vitamin D is important for the development of strong and healthy bones. Its deficiency can lead to impaired growth, weak bones, and short stature. In addition, it is required by the body for the absorption of calcium.
Apart from vitamin D, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2 or other vitamins such as riboflavin, vitamin C or ascorbic acid are also essential for normal growth. These are mostly contained in fruits and vegetables.
